How to use PGP?

How to send your public key:

  1. Log in to your CTemplar account.
  2. Click on the three dots menu and make sure the Attach Public Key has a check mark.
  3. Compose your message and when you click on Send, your public key will be attached as a file.

Alternatively, you can download your PGP public key through the Settings and send it later

  1. Go to the Settings menu.
  2. Click on Signatures & Aliases.
  3. Scroll down to Keys.
  4. Click on the arrow pointing to the email that you wish to download the keys.
  5. Click on the blue arrow.
  6. Click on Public Key to download it.

Someone sent you their public key? You can import it!

  1. Go to the Contacts menu.
  2. Either create or select a contact.
  3. Inside the contact Email field, on the right, click on the cog menu.
  4. Click on Add Key.
  5. Select the public key associated with your email’s contact and import it.
  6. Click on Enabled to enable PGP encryption.
